What does an adoptive family look like?

For many birthmothers, understanding the adoptive family and becoming familiar with adoptive parents is an important part of making an adoption plan. Birthmothers often express feelings of comfort and encouragement after witnessing the adoptive parents’ love for their child. Knowing that they have provided their children with loving, supportive families allows many birthmothers to feel a strong sense of satisfaction and peace.

If you choose, you will be able to select and get to know the family who adopts your baby. Adoption agencies will make adoptive parent profiles available to you so you can find the right family.
